Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer who will work in a group that is working to replace an out of date and fragile system with a modern replacement. The group will then be focused on the rollout of a brand-new messaging system.
The Systems Engineer will be providing technical direction, guidance and manage software trends across the project.
Duties will also include but not limited to:
- Performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition, integration, system documentation.
- Will serve as the primary focal point of contact for several enterprise systems.
- In this role the candidate will need to frequently interact with senior level Customers to provide innovative solutions and provide feedback.
Required Skills:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly to be considered
- Requires BS degree and at least 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with at least 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of systems analysis and development
- Know core languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or C#
- Ability to provide Analysis to data structures & algorithms
- Demonstrated experience in full life-cycle software development project performing all phases of a rigorous software development methodology with the ability to identify gaps, mitigate technical risk, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical problems.
- Hands on experience with Agile development processes.
- Demonstrated experience with System Documentation.
- Experience with Java for Software Development.
