Systems Engineer - Hardware
Location Northville, USA

YOUR TASKS

FORVIA - HELLA is seeking its next great Systems Engineer -Hardware to join our growing energy group. This individual will be joining awell established group that is focused on supporting our internal associates.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Clarify and define internal and customer hardware requirements, facilitate discussion with customer for requirements alignment
  • Performing development tasks based on existing hardware specifications and architectures according to standards
  • Analyze, optimize, and improve existing hardware designs, including components assemblies, and related integration
  • Analyze, debug, and optimize hardware designs during development, supporting technical resolution discussions internally and with customers
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of PCBs and electronic modules (bench testing, probing, measurements) to identify root causes of failures and propose corrective actions
    Use lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, power supplies) to diagnose faults, HIL knowhow is a plus

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years Hardware engineering experience or proficient in electronics
  • Knowledgeof embedded hardware design and analogical and digital circuit development
  • Familiarityto automotive electronic product development process
  • Strongcommunication and facilitation skills
