Qualifications:
Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Position Description: The System Engineer shall collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations.
Position Required Skills: - Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools - Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems - Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks - Experience with security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies - Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration - Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd - Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation
