What you'll do day-to-day
Help design, build, and operate hybrid grid computing that bursts compute to the cloud across AWS, GCP, and Azure
Contribute to the reliability and performance of Linux-based compute platforms and the networking that supports them.
Develop tooling and automation that simplify and normalize how the firm uses cloud capabilities
Manage cloud platform observability and share in a cloud ops escalation rotation, owning issues from triage through remediation
Partner with teams across the firm to identify high-impact cloud opportunities and guide adoption of solutions suited to their needs
What we're looking for
Five to seven years of infrastructure or software engineering experience with production systems, plus hands-on time in a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Hands-on Linux experience operating a hybrid environment, with the ability to debug network traffic across both public internet and private links.
Experience with modern development and infrastructure as code practices (e.g. Terraform), and proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Rust preferred. A solid grounding in security fundamentals, applied to building cloud systems that are secure by default.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward.
The expected annual base salary for this position is $225,000 to $300,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
