Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Model Based Enterprise (MBE) Systems Architect will be responsible for tools, processes and helping to develop MBE capabilities (CAD, Manufacturing, Analysis, etc.) across the enterprise. The role will collaborate with design, manufacturing, launch operations, IT, supply chain and program operations to improve, develop and maintain tools and processes. Responsibilities include the following:
  • Building authoritative digital models.
  • Connecting siloed data sources.
  • Constructing the digital thread/digital twin.
  • Support dashboarding initiatives to empower informed decision making.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with current CAD design, applications and APIs.

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • CAD experience (Siemens NX, PTC CREO).
  • Experience in 3D Model Based Definition environment.
  • PLM experience (Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill).
  • Experience in engineering software tools/applications maintenance and issue resolution.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and developing APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work across the enterprise with various functional groups (engineering, operations, IT, quality, supply chain, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense.
  • Experience authoring 3D Model Based Definition.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using modern frameworks and standards (REST, JSON, XML, OAuth, etc.).
  • Familiarity with MBSE.
  • Advanced MS Office Application skills (PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to travel, work irregular shifts and weekends.


Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denveronly): $81,695.00 - $136,159.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
