Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join an Enterprise Integration team. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA engineers, product owners, and support teams to define business requirements, design integration solutions, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, experience with enterprise integrations and API-based solutions, and a solid understanding of integration patterns and modern software delivery practices, including Specification-Driven Development (SDD).
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify solution opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Drive Specification-Driven Development (SDD) practices by defining API contracts, data models, and interface requirements before implementation.
• Work closely with architects and development teams to design scalable and resilient integration solutions.
• Define and document integration patterns, message flows, data mappings, and system interactions.
• Support API-led connectivity and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Coordinate and participate in End-to-End (E2E) testing activities across multiple systems and applications.
• Validate business and technical requirements through testing, production verification, and stakeholder reviews.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and partner with technical teams on resolution strategies.
• Assist with release planning, production deployments, hypercare activities, and change management processes.
• Create and maintain system documentation, integration specifications, process diagrams, and operational support materials.
• Organize daily Scrum calls, including planning, backlog refinement, and capacity planning.
• Provide ongoing support for enterprise applications and integrations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical and system requirements.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar middleware solutions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with Specification-Driven Development (SDD) and API-first design principles.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, including Request-Reply, Publish-Subscribe, Event-Driven Processing, Content-Based Routing, Message Transformation, Aggregation and Splitting, Retry and Error Handling, Idempotency and Duplicate Prevention, and Asynchronous Processing.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience gathering and documenting technical and system requirements.
• Experience with integration design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with test automation tools, API testing tools, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience using Agile management tools such as VersionOne, Jira, ServiceNow SPM, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting production systems and incident management activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
