We CGI is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with strong expertise in business and systems analysis, API/data mapping, requirements definition, and digital transformation.
In this role, you'll work across business, product, architecture, UX, and engineering teams to understand complex business workflows and system interactions, translate requirements into clear technical and functional specifications, and help deliver modern digital solutions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with hands on experience understanding APIs, data flows, system integrations, and legacy modernization.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site position located in our Cary, NC or Plano, TX offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Analyze and document complex business workflows, system interactions, and data flows
. Analyze Swagger/OpenAPI contracts and APIs to trace and map data required to support business use cases
. Perform detailed data and field mapping across system boundaries
. Translate business requirements into system flows, functional requirements, and technical specifications
. Develop clear, complete, and testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
. Use business and data domain knowledge to support solution design, requirements validation, and test planning
. Partner with product, UX, architecture, engineering, and business teams to define and refine requirements
. Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and process improvement
. Translate legacy business logic and data structures into future state digital requirements
. Support legacy application modernization, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives
. Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure API and integration strategies align with enterprise standards
. Participate in issue triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
. Identify requirements, process, integration, and data gaps and work with teams to drive resolution
. Maintain traceability between business requirements, system requirements, solution design, and delivery
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: At least 6-9 years of experience as a Systems Analyst
. Strong ability to understand and document business workflows and system interactions
. Strong experience with data/field mapping and tracing data across multiple systems
. Ability to interpret, synthesize, and methodically document complex business and system requirements
. Experience mapping business requirements to system flows and interactions
. Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations
. Ability to read and analyze APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
. Hands on experience using SQL for data analysis and validation
. Experience with API analysis/testing tools such as Bruno or similar tools
. Experience using browser developer tools to analyze network calls and system interactions
. Experience creating functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
. Experience supporting issue triage and troubleshooting using business, system, and data knowledge
. Experience with legacy system modernization, data integration, or digital transformation
. Experience working in Agile development environments
. Ability and willingness to work 100% onsite
Good to Have:
. Understanding of Financial Services, Brokerage, Investments, or other regulated industries
. Knowledge of Alternative Investments or related financial domains
. Experience with mainframe to cloud or legacy to modern platform transformation
. Experience with UI/UX modernization and digital experience initiatives
. Familiarity with JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Tableau, or similar tools
. Experience collaborating with product, UX, architecture, engineering, QA, and operations teams
. Understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, data, and security standards
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $121,100.00.
