About the role

As a System Administrator at InfoTrack, you will be responsible for providing hands-on IT support to our employees while helping maintain and support the systems and technology that keep our business running. You will troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues, support employee onboarding and equipment setup, and assist with the administration of core systems including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and our cloud infrastructure. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, providing excellent internal customer support, and working across a variety of IT systems and projects.

This is a hybrid position based out of our New York City office and requires working in the office a minimum of three days per week.
Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive helpdesk support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, access, and other day-to-day IT issues
  • Administer and support Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including email, SharePoint, and other business applications
  • Set up, configure, and maintain employee computers, servers, and related IT equipment
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing equipment, user accounts, system access, and other technology needs
  • Help maintain and administer InfoTrack's internal infrastructure, including our Microsoft Azure cloud environment
  • Administer and support the company's phone system
  • Manage IT hardware and equipment inventory
  • Support antivirus, antispam, and other security tools used across the organization
  • Assist with network and infrastructure support as needed
  • Provide general IT support across the business and contribute to ongoing IT projects and system improvements
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools, with the ability to support and troubleshoot automated workflows
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as needed

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, technical support, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Working knowledge of network administration, including DNS, firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take ownership of issues through resolution
  • Willingness and ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
  • Ability to work from our New York City office a minimum of three days per week
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate and PowerShell scripting.
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as needed

Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $83,000-$130,000. We consider a number of factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's skills, education, relevant experience, and qualifications, along with internal compensation equity and alignment with InfoTrack's compensation philosophy.
