What Impact You'll Have:Tailored Access, a GRVTY Company is seeking Systems Administrators to support Department of Defense/IC missions at Fort Meade, MD. You will be responsible for Linux Systems Administration while supporting IC missions that are vital to our national security.
What You'll be Owning- Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).
- Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.
- Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.
- Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.
- Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.
- Apply patches and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot server issues.
- Administer customer accounts
- Deploy monitoring tools.
- Deploy applications and tools.
- Assist with escalated customer tickets.
- Installation and cabling of equipment
What You Must Have:- Active TS/SCI with polygraph (polygraph must be within last 6 years)
- 10 years of systems administration experience OR technical bachelor's degree + 5 years of systems administration experience
- Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)
- Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository
- Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)
- Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus
- Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, NiFi)
What Would be Nice to Have- Syslog/NxLog
- Nagios or other similar monitoring applications
- Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
