The Systems Administrator will support a Microsoft-centric computing environment consisting of Windows 2019/2022/2025 servers and Microsoft Cloud Technologies with a concentration on our hybrid Active Directory and Entra environment. This position will report to the IT Manager - Infrastructure.
Responsibilities: - Administer, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure services and cloud resources.
- Administer Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot agents, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Manage Intune application configuration and protection policies.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, role eligibility, and access reviews.
- Manage Azure Key Vault, private endpoints, private DNS zones, and RBAC for automation and Power Platform workloads.
- Monitor, investigate, and remediate security incidents across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Design and support integrations among on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, and third-party platforms.
- Manage identities, roles, and access controls in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Proactively monitor infrastructure, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Administer Windows Server, server hardware and software, and DAS, SAN, and NAS storage.
- Perform preventive maintenance, security assessments, audits, upgrades, and risk remediation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and security policies.
- Provide business-hours and after-hours infrastructure support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain 60% in-office presence, with up to 40% remote work.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 5+ years in a Microsoft IT environment.
- Experience with Azure AI, Copilot and agent governance, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- PowerShell automation proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, MFA, System Center, Hyper-V, Exchange Online, Citrix, Defender, Nimble Storage, HPE ProLiant servers, ExaGrid and Rubrik backup solutions.
- Technical experience working with Windows server computer systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence others.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, and prioritize multiple projects daily and adjust to shifting priorities.

The salary range for this position in the Boston office is: $100,000- $120,000
