Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy IT Systems Analyst - Epic Willow Ambulatory to support and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be a PharmD with significant Epic experience and an Epic Willow Ambulatory certification. This position will work closely with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and IT teams to support application functionality, workflows, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization for retail and outpatient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide application support for Epic Willow Ambulatory.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and workflow issues.
  • Support retail/outpatient pharmacy workflows, including prescription processing, dispensing, charging, inventory, and point-of-sale integrations, ensuring Epic functionality aligns with operational needs.
  • Evaluate existing workflows and recommend opportunities for system optimization.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate pharmacy and operational requirements into appropriate Epic application solutions.
  • Participate in application enhancements, upgrades, implementations, testing, and optimization initiatives.
  • Assist with system configuration and troubleshooting within the scope of Epic Willow Ambulatory.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, functionality, and user experience.
  • Support testing and validation of application changes.
  • Document issues, solutions, workflows, and system changes as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet project objectives.
