Ericsson is looking for a Senior Architect to help shape the next generation of mobile financial services. In this role, you will translate customer needs into software requirements and architecture for secure, scalable financial solutions connecting digital wallets, payments, ledgering, identity, compliance, and partner ecosystems. You will act as a technical bridge between customers, product stakeholders, and R&D. The role represents Ericsson to customers in the relevant time zone, explains technical trade-offs, and ensures customer needs become clear and implementable requirements. It is well suited to a software architect willing to evolve towards a solution architect role while working close to customers. What you will do • Front technical discussions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Translating customer and business needs into software requirements, target architectures, solution blueprints, interface definitions, and non-functional requirements • Guide software and system-level decisions across applications, API, data, security, observability, resilience, and operational supportability • Work in direct contact with the R&D architects and delivery teams to ensure customer-driven requirements are understood, implementable, supportable, and aligned with roadmap priorities • Partner with security, risk, and compliance stakeholders to embed controls for identity, privacy, fraud prevention, auditability, and regulatory requirements • Support solution shaping, effort estimation, technical risk assessment, and value argumentation for customer and business opportunities • Contribute to architecture governance, technical standards, reusable assets, and continuous improvement across the Ericsson architecture community The skills you bring What you will bring The ideal candidate combines strong software architecture experience with the ability to work closely with customers, product stakeholders, and engineering teams. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually.
