Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated System/Business Analyst to join our team and provide end to end support across functional analysis, technical coordination, agile delivery, and operational triage. This role requires someone who is comfortable engaging with business stakeholders to refine requirements and working closely with developers to scope technical effort, while also facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting incident resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and eager to learn.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices: Fairfax, VA, Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Belton, TX, Lebanon, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
. Refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to ensure clarity and completeness.
. Facilitate estimation sessions with developers to gather level of effort (LOE) inputs and ensure reliable sprint commitments.
. Lead and conduct Agile ceremonies including:
Backlog grooming / refinement
Daily stand ups
Sprint planning
Sprint reviews
Sprint retrospectives
. Coordinate with cross functional team members to ensure alignment on sprint goals and priorities.
. Maintain transparency on delivery progress, risks, and blockers.
. Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of incidents as they are reported.
. Work with technical teams to determine root cause, validate fixes, and track resolutions.
. Maintain documentation for recurring issues and identify opportunities for process improvement
. Understand federal security requirements at a high level, particularly those associated with compliance frameworks such as FISMA, NIST 800 53/171, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
. Track and report on Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), ensuring timely updates and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
. Support auditors, security teams, and leadership with required documentation and evidence as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar cross functional, system analyst, or business systems analyst role.
. Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, or a related field is preferable.
. Demonstrated experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
. Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
. Experience leading Agile ceremonies and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.
. Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
. Exposure to or working knowledge of use of AI
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Exposure to federal cybersecurity requirements, system security documentation, and POA&M processes.
. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
. Experience working with federal agencies or federal contracting environments.
. Familiarity with tracking tools such as Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $139,300.00.
