ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We are seeking a high-performing Software & Integration Engineer to join our Integration Team. In this critical role, you will help safeguard our nation's most vital unclassified and classified networks by engineering, integrating, and scaling secure data services across the CTIaaS and MDTA mission threads. Leveraging Apache NiFi, multi-cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), and Kubernetes container orchestration, you will drive complex data flow processing, data transformation, and service integration. You will write efficient scripts in Python, Java, Groovy, and Bash while utilizing configuration management frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, and Bicep to automate deployments and keep mission-critical cyber defense pipelines resilient and adaptable.
The annual base salary range for this role is $189,000-$224,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Data Flow Processing & Transformation: Extensive experience designing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise data flows and data transformation pipelines, with deep operational knowledge of Apache NiFi.
Kubernetes Orchestration & Containerization: High proficiency in packaging, deploying, scaling, and managing containerized enterprise services within Kubernetes environments.
Multi-Cloud Ecosystems: Working knowledge of Cloud Service Provider architectures, offerings, and integration practices across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Polyglot Scripting & Development: Strong hands-on coding and scripting experience using Python, Java, Groovy, and Bash.
Configuration Management & Automation: Experience managing, automating, and provisioning system configurations using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Bicep.
Service Integration: Proven mastery in connecting complex, distributed enterprise applications, data pipelines, and security services.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 14+ years of professional software development experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 18+ years of hands-on technical software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Cyber Defense & Threat Intelligence: Direct experience supporting Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) exchange mechanisms or Machine-to-Machine (M2M) mission flows.
CI/CD & DevSecOps Automation: Familiarity with automated build and deployment pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) in cloud and containerized environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Additional familiarity with Helm, Terraform, or related deployment orchestration tooling.
