The UW Medical Center-Montlake Operating Rooms have an outstanding opportunity for a Surgical Technologist.
WORK SCHEDULE • 40 or 36 hours per week • Day, Evening, Night or Rotating/Variable Shift

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Take the lead in the patient care experience by prepping and maintaining our Operating Rooms for surgical procedures • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and partners, from our scheduling team to surgeons • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, problem-solving environment while maintaining vigilance of instruments and supplies used during surgical procedures • Perform scrub role while supporting patient safety a sterile environment • Support of post-operative tasks, including removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization and turnover of the Operating Room
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program AND one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment OR equivalent education/experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT
Registered by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist, or licensed in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse or Physician.
