Position Overview:Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
Job Description:
EDUCATION- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience
- Other: Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:- Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
- Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.

Pay Range is $53.30 to $63.69 / hour
