Allegheny Health Network (AHN)’s Surgery Institute is seeking a highly skilled Fellowship Trained Glaucoma Specialist. Practice collegial flagship tertiary care ophthalmology alongside established retina, cornea, and orbit/oculoplastic colleagues. We welcome established physicians as well as support newer physicians who are looking to develop their skills alongside knowledgeable mentors.
Job Duties/Highlights
- Provide specialized ophthalmologic care for patients diagnosed with glaucoma, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and surgical interventions. Assess and monitor glaucoma progression, such as visual field testing, imaging, and tonometry.
- Contribute to teaching/educational activities.
- Offer strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Flexible schedule.
- Team of 5 physicians. 1/5 primary Level 1 Trauma Call.

Job Qualifications
- Medical degree and completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
- Fellowship training in Glaucoma from an ACGME-accredited program.
- Board-Certified or Board- Eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing prior to starting.
