Full Job Description
  • Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits to assess compliance with quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain audit reports, supplier evaluations, quality procedures, work instructions, checklists, templates, and controlled quality documentation.
  • Facilitate regular supplier quality reviews to monitor open action items, quality concerns, supplier performance, and timely closure of SCARs and corrective actions.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance metrics and scorecards, and communicate risks, trends, and escalation items to internal stakeholders.
  • Review and manage supplier corrective actions, SCARs, and CAPA activities, ensuring investigations are technically sound and supported by objective evidence.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and establish clear technical and quality requirements.
  • Lead supplier quality activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs to ensure supplier readiness and successful product launches.
  • Assess supplier manufacturing readiness, process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, validation activities, and quality requirements prior to production release.
  • Support first article inspections (FAI), pilot builds, process validations, production transfers, and production readiness reviews.
  • Drive supplier quality performance during NPI and production ramp activities by identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain internal quality procedures, databases, supplier scorecards, audit records, and external quality documentation supporting Advantest suppliers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality related to PCBA's and/or Mechanicals
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and supplier quality assessments.
  • Experience managing supplier quality activities for NPI, production transfer, qualification, and supplier readiness projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
  • Effective root cause analysis, problem-solving, and corrective action management skills.
  • Experience developing quality documentation, audit reports, procedures, work instructions, checklists, scorecards, and technical reports.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technical and quality engineering expertise/ mindset. The position is responsible for solving complex supplier quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, assessing risk, and providing technical recommendations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to objective evidence, compliance, and traceability.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations as required
