You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NCIS.

- You will act as the Supply and Services Program Manager and technical authority for the agency.
- You will oversee and manage the Supply and Services Programs for NCIS including the accountable property system of record, Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
- You will develop and maintain the NCIS Chapter policies and General Administration messages (GENADMINs) to set and communicate policy.
- You will serve as the sole Personal Property Manager (PPM) for the Director of NCIS and technical authority to establish accountability and management throughout the agency.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
QualificationsMust have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
- Understanding of federal supply laws, regulations, and DOW/DON property accountability directives to serve as the Personal Property Manager (PPM) for the Director of NCIS.
- Creating agency-wide policy recommendations and procedures. Ability to determine supply support requirements to meet agency logistic supply chain constraints worldwide.
- Administering and understanding the supply and service program regarding the ELMS, ServiceNow accountable property applications, Mailroom operations, Supply Issue Point Warehouse and TMO operations.
