Supply Chain Operations Support Manager (Asset Management) - Clifton, NJ, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay range: $88,770 - $159,830 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Manage and support all Supply Chain-related processes that support a region or regions. Oversee support staff that will assist the region/regions with the daily material operations, which will include supply order management, analytics, local agreements, Asset Mgmt, and reporting support in accordance with all Materials and Services Management Policies and Procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with all applicable and current Human Resources, Internal Audit, Compliance, College of American Pathologists (CAP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Finance, and Materials and Services Management regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as any other deemed applicable policies.
- Lead and manage a team of 10 direct and indirect reports, overseeing training, workflow, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional development to ensure operational excellence in Asset Management.
- Direct the team's daily operations, including the accurate and timely processing of capital acquisitions, asset tagging, physical inventories, equipment transfers, and disposals.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline asset management processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee the management of the asset registry in our EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) system and ERP, ensuring data integrity for all lab equipment and associated service contracts.
- Champion the integration of technology, automation, and AI to transform the Asset Management program from a reactive to a predictive and strategic function.
- Support efforts to maintain accurate data by facilitating and documenting asset changes (capital acquisitions, tagging, inventory, transfers, sales, disposals, and tagging) and service contract renewals.
- Drive the service contract renewal process by guiding the team in verifying asset status, requesting supplier quotes, and completing all necessary documentation to prevent lapses in service.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain to identify and realize cost savings.
- Act as the primary escalation point and liaison between the Asset Management team, laboratory stakeholders, Procurement, and the Purchasing Operations Center (POC) to resolve complex procurement and supply chain issues.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in conjunction with Accounts Payable, the POC, and appropriate Contract Managers.
- Manage open requisitions and purchase orders in conjunction with the region materials teams.
- Provide robust analytical oversight, managing the team's reporting on key performance metrics, inventory levels, and savings initiatives for regional and national leadership. Perform other duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials, Warehousing, Purchasing, Operations, or equivalent.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Knowledge of Laboratory operations preferred.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma process or certification is preferred.
