Full Job Description
Qnity's Supply Chain Excellence Team is engaged in a multi-year project to implement new supply chain planning software from OMP. A key focus of the project is to provide advanced production planning and scheduling. Qnity is seeking a subject matter expert (SME) in Advanced Planning and Scheduling to support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement digital business planning processes. This position will report to the Business Planning Team Leader and is responsible for deploying, training, and monitoring best practices within this focus area. The successful candidate will be accountable for providing the required process leadership and technical oversight to effectively execute the Qnity supply chain strategy in support of global business objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead the operational scheduling portion of the OMP transformation for Qnity manufacturing processes, working with vendor consultants and Qnity project team members on master data definition, solution design, testing, user training and deployment. • Ensure the integration of this solution with existing SAP and MES (Manufacturing Education Systems) data sources at certain manufacturing sites. • Lead issue investigation and resolution, involving relevant teams/expertise • Define and prioritize solution enhancements and coordinate implementation with technical and business teams. • Monitor the system for usage, performance, and delivery of target business benefits. • Provide technical and process support, including coordination with Integrated Operations, Demand and Supply Chain Planning. • Heavy use of SAP P80 & P23 Qualifications • BS/BA Supply Chain, business, or engineering. • 5-8 years of Supply Chain or IT experience with complex customer quality requirements. • Global teamwork experience preferred (leadership role or significant interface as part of teams, leading teams, working cross-cultures). • Experience implementing advanced planning and scheduling systems • Strong knowledge of MES including interfaces and data flows. • OMP application experience is preferred; APO, or other planning system knowledge preferred • Strong leadership and collaboration skills. • Experience with SAP OTC (order-to-cash), MM (Material Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules and related data structures • Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Champion preferred. • APICS CPIM Certification preferred • English language fluency #LI-LA1 #Hybrid #Wilmington,DE Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!
