Role overview

The Senior Director - Business Services for Intelligent Supply Chain Operations (CPG Customer Development) will be responsible for developing, scaling, and delivering Customer Development and Commercial Operations solutions for Consumer Products & Retail (CPR) clients across North America. With a strong business and commercial focus, this role will engage with CPG clients to design and deliver integrated supply chain and customer development capabilities, bridging planning, order-to-cash, and customer collaboration. This role will act as a thought leader across Customer Development, leveraging industry trends such as omnichannel fulfillment, retailer collaboration, and digital commercialization to strengthen Capgemini's positioning in the CPG sector

Job Description

What will you do
  • Lead presales client engagements and large deal pursuits across North America in CPG Customer Development
  • Lead and steer customer project, consulting, and Business Services (BPO) engagements focused on Order-to-Cash and Customer Operations
  • Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain executives
  • Lead Customer Development maturity assessments and define transformation roadmaps
  • Develop business cases showcasing ROI across revenue growth and service optimization
  • Define and implement KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks aligned with service level and customer outcomes
  • Contribute to creation of CPG-specific offerings including customer collaboration and order management
  • Design and implement Target Operating Models integrating commercial and supply chain processes
  • Provide thought leadership in omnichannel fulfillment and retailer integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposal development and delivery
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams
  • Drive innovation leveraging analytics, AI, and customer-centric solutions
  • Position Capgemini as a leader in CPG Customer Development transformation

What you should have
  • Bachelor's Degree or above. MBA preferred
  • 15-20+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Customer Development, or Commercial Operations within CPG
  • Experience in Business Services, Shared Services, or BPO environments
  • Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash, Customer Service, Trade Promotion, and Customer Collaboration
  • Strong understanding of CPG industry and retailer ecosystem
  • Advanced English proficiency with strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze commercial and operational data
  • Experience designing Target Operating Models
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive influence skills
  • Leadership experience managing global teams
  • Exposure to SAP OTC, TPM tools, and analytics platforms
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Relevant certifications desirable
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%


The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $137900-295000
