Position Summary

FMI is seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead our Purchasing, Inventory Control, Receiving, Warehouse Operations and Distribution Center. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the organization while driving improvements in inventory management, supplier performance, customer service, safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience managing an end-to-end supply chain within a multi-site manufacturing and distribution environment.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is highly analytical, and has a proven track record of leading teams, improving processes, and delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop multiple supply chain functions, including purchasing, inventory, warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems and data analytics to identify trends and implement process improvements.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive key supply chain performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, inventory turns, working capital, supplier performance, on-time delivery, purchasing effectiveness, material availability, and overall operational performance through collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to support customer satisfaction and operational performance.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets while controlling expenses and supporting profitability goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, service levels, and overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive-level leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading multiple teams or departments within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business decisions.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Experience with Syteline preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven project management and process improvement experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills.
