  • Perform inventory transactions in SAP, including goods receipts and stock transfers.
  • Review and validate inventory reports from CMOs and internal sites to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory levels; recommend actions to optimize inventory and reduce slow-moving items.

Job purpose

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decisions to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. This role involves forecasting, inventory management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve performance metrics.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned CMOs and follow up on production schedules, shipment status, material availability, and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor production progress at CMOs, identify potential supply risks, and escalate issues to ensure uninterrupted product supply.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to resolve CMO-related operational issues.
  • Support CMO transition and closure activities, including inventory disposition, final production tracking, and supply continuity planning.
  • Perform inventory transactions in SAP, including goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, and other required inventory postings.
  • Receive, review, and validate inventory reports from CMOs and internal sites, ensuring inventory records are accurate and up to date.
  • Reconcile inventory balances between SAP records, CMO reports, and physical inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize inventory, improve inventory turns, and reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
  • Monitor inventory health, material consumption trends, and replenishment requirements to maintain targeted service levels while minimizing working capital.
  • Support demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes through data analysis, inventory projections, and supply risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain inventory, supply chain, and service-level reports and KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance and supply chain efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel between NJ and NY sites required as determined by business needs

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $85,000 to $104,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.

The compensation and benefits described above are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials or documents as in effect from time to time, including but not limited to terms and conditions regarding eligibility.
