Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering, or similar field; 5+ years in Supplier Quality roles.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience, with preference for Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with familiarity in RCCA methods and data analysis techniques.
• Understanding of risk assessment techniques like DFMEA/PFMEA, Control plans, and SPC.
• Proficient in trend analysis to convert data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Knowledge of IPC, ISO, and FDA standards relevant to supplier quality.
• Experience with First Article Inspections and mechanical drawing interpretation.
• Proficient in data automation and metric development with Microsoft Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality relationships to enhance Supply Chain performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and adherence to specifications through supplier collaboration.
• Guide Quality Inspectors in product inspections and conduct supplier process audits.
• Support the supplier selection and evaluation for new/existing products.
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List in partnership with the supply chain team.
• Audit supplier capabilities to ensure compliance with SNC requirements.
• Conduct onsite inspections as needed and communicate findings to suppliers.
• Handle nonconforming materials, including communication, disposition, and closure processes.
• Analyze supplier quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers on SCARs and coaching for effective RCCA.
• Review product designs to mitigate supplier risks and enhance quality controls.
• Lead Lean Process Improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
