The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Physical Security Specialist, GS-0080-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop, implement, and maintain department wide policy and security programs.
- Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
- Serve as technical authority regarding the regulatory impact on sensitive or evolving physical security programs.
- Identify key policy issues and priorities, design analyses, evaluate alternative agency strategies, and make definitive recommendations to senior management.
- Review new or revised legislation or regulations for impact on physical security programs.
- Direct the full range of security contract administration actions.

QualificationsTo qualify for the position of Supervisory Physical Security Specialist, at GS-0080-14, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: Performing the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised; Reviewing new or revise legislation or regulations for impact on physical security programs; Conducting physical security surveys and/or inspections.
