The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Strategic Alternate Sourcing Program Office in the 948th Supply Chain Management Group.
Duty 1: Exercises 1st level technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities for 25% or more of duty time over subordinate employees predominately in the General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services Group and journey level or higher.
Duty 2: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
Duty 3: Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
Duty 4: Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Additional Position Requirements:
1. The work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

• May be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty.
