Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and manage all integrated logistics support activities for Tower Simulation System program. The Logistics Manager will serve as the primary resource responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the full integrated logistics support framework across all program elements, ensuring the system meets all reliability, availability, and performance requirements throughout the period of performance. This position will work directly with the Program Manager, and Deputy Program Manager to ensure seamless logistics support across the program.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Logistics Support Planning & Management
  • Establish and maintain full Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to ensure all components
Hardware Maintenance & Depot Support
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive hardware maintenance and depot support program ensuring timely repair, replacement, and sustainment of program components
  • Maintain a documented spares strategy supporting operational availability requirements including:
    • Procurement, storage, tracking, and replenishment of spare parts
    • Consumables management and replenishment
    • Obsolescence management and component lifecycle planning
  • Coordinate with FSR teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and replacement components to field sites
Inventory Control & Supply Chain Management
  • Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all computing hardware, firmware, software, and digital components including:
    • Manufacturer and model or version
    • Country of origin and supply source
    • Export classification
    • Configuration status and version history
  • Ensure no component is added, replaced, or updated without corresponding update to the inventory
  • Ensure all hardware, firmware, software, and digital components are sourced in compliance with applicable U.S. trade restrictions
  • Support preparation and delivery of logistics inputs to all Program Management Reviews Site Installation Logistics Support
  • Coordinate all logistics activities supporting site installations across all sites
  • Manage equipment procurement, staging, shipping, and delivery to all installation sites
  • Coordinate with FSR teams on equipment delivery schedules, site readiness, and installation logistics

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Logistics Manager on an FAA or DoD simulation/training system program
  • Experience managing logistics for programs with nationwide multi-site deployments
