Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday- Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. No weekends required. Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the department.

Pay:

Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Radiation Oncology to:

  • Responsible for the leadership of imaging and treatment units of the department of Radiation Oncology at Eastpark Medical Center, including proton therapy
  • Oversees day to day operation of simulation and radiation therapy treatment procedures
  • Collaborates with physicians, physicists, dosimetry, nursing and schedulers on issues related to the management of patient care
  • Provides staff supervision and leadership for radiation therapists in simulation, photon, and proton treatment areas

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or another relevant field Preferred


Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist Required
  • Prior leadership experience in a cancer treatment center Preferred
  • Experience with proven proficiency in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction and counseling Preferred


Licenses & Certifications

  • Certified as a radiation therapy technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
  • CMD or RTT Preferred
