Responsibilities: - Ensures staff members are prepared and properly supported.
- Maintains a patient-focused environment.
- Ensures efficient workflow, staffing levels, and delegation of responsibilities.
- Assists in departmental policy decisions, hiring activities, budgeting, and safety standards enforcement.
- Maintains records for staff, has crucial conversations with staff when needed, and communications and enforces policies and procedures to staff.
- Remains current on developments in the field of Imaging and attends training sessions to maintain knowledge, as necessary.
- Ensures that quality control tests and procedures are conducted and documented, and that all equipment meets regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: - Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
- Accredited ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, or NMTCB program.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 4 years of Imaging experience required.
- 4 years of MRI experience highly preferred.
- Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
