Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Supervisor, Maintenance - IDAP is a member of the Inspection, Device Assembly & Packaging Technical Team and will manage/oversee a team consisting of maintenance technicians.  This position is responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all assets within the operation by completing corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance.  This includes technical trouble shooting, leading improvement initiatives and providing technical support for all project related work. This position requires collaboration with operations, engineers, other leaders, and OEM suppliers.


  • Complete emergency, corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance repairs on process related equipment. 
  • Complete documentation and required functions in the work order system to close out activities in compliance with cGMPs
  • Install new equipment and oversee equipment upgrades according to site SOPs
  • Follow and maintain compliance with established MRO procedures and inventory control
  • Utilize appropriate Problem Solving and Troubleshooting techniques to complete equipment repairs
  • Drive root cause analysis and perform/facilitate technical investigations and assessments 
  • Drive and support OEE initiatives. 
  • Maintain external technical relationships and collaborates with equipment and material suppliers 
  • Provide technical guidance, career development and performance management for technical team members. 
  • Serve as a project resource to PET to assist in the follow up and timely implementation of projects and validation activities
  • Provide training to operators for equipment set-up and for minor adjustments or repairs
  • Perform work requirements in a responsible manner, in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, and established safety procedures in accordance with OSHA requirements and guidelines.
  • Perform 5S activities and maintain organization of operating areas
  • Work with minimal supervision under the direction of the Senior Manager Engineering and Maintenance, Manager Engineering, Process Engineer, Supervisor Manufacturing or other activity leads

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in GMP or regulated production environment 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills 
  • Problem solving and project management skills 
  • Ability to provide work direction to a team of technical resources. 
  • Expertise in at least one of the following: automation/ controls, aseptic/ packaging equipment, process/materials, maintenance, validation, and project delivery 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, related Science or business. 
  • Previous supervisory experience 
  • Ability to challenge and adapt current approaches/ways of working 
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodology – LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM or equivalent 

Work Schedule: 12 hour 2/2/3 Night Shift

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 - $118,750.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
