About the Role
GEICO is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Analytics - Anti-Fraud Operations to lead a team of analytics professionals supporting fraud investigations and fraud prevention initiatives. This role combines strong people leadership with technical expertise and requires a leader who can set priorities, develop talent, oversee high-quality analytics delivery, and partner effectively with investigative, compliance, claims, and technology stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a leader who can coach and mentor analysts, influence decision-making at multiple levels, and ensure analytical solutions are accurate, timely, and actionable within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics associates.
Manage performance, workload distribution, and career development.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
Provide guidance and support to help associates strengthen technical and communication skills.
Analytics Delivery & Execution
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytics work, from intake and prioritization through quality review and completion.
Ensure analytical deliverables meet standards for accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
Guide development of:
Reporting and dashboards
Enterprise data analysis
Ad hoc analytical support for investigations
Review analytical approaches, challenge assumptions, and help resolve complex problems.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Partner with SIU and fraud leadership to align analytics initiatives with investigative priorities and business objectives.
Collaborate with Claims, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams on:
System releases
Training initiatives
Issue resolution
Continuous improvement efforts
Communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
Governance, Risk & Quality
Establish and maintain standards for:
Documentation
Testing and validation
Quality assurance
Responsible use of data
Identify operational, data, and security risks and drive appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Prior supervisory or people leadership experience required.
Ability to learn and apply complex technical and procedural information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Leadership Skills
Proven success leading analytical or technical teams.
Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build alignment among diverse stakeholders and constructively resolve conflicts.
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
Technical & Industry Knowledge
Knowledge of insurance fraud investigations, Special Investigations Unit (SIU) operations, compliance analytics, or a related field.
Experience working with one or more of the following tools and technologies:
SQL
Cloud data platforms (Snowflake or similar)
Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools
Python or similar programming languages
Data pipelines and ETL processes
Git or other version-control systems
Ability to review technical work and provide strategic direction without excessive oversight.
Experience supporting production analytics environments is preferred.
Professional Skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong partnership skills with operations leaders, investigators, and analytics or engineering teams.
Effective telephone and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience in:
Special Investigations Unit (SIU)
Fraud analytics
Insurance claims investigations
Experience leading teams responsible for both recurring reporting and ad hoc analytics.
Familiarity with structured intake, prioritization, and project tracking processes within a cross-functional organization.
Experience supporting production analytics environments, including:
Defect resolution
Stakeholder sign-off processes
Solution deployment and rollout

Annual Salary
$79,950.00 - $141,450.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate27s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
