Superintendent - Retail Sector Experience
Location:Dallas, TX Metroplex Future travel may be required after local project completed | Safety Sensitive Position
VCC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up retail projects from mobilization through completion.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Enforce safety policies and build a culture of jobsite safety
Drive schedule performance and coordinate subcontractors in proper sequence
Plan construction procedures aligned with contract documents and specifications
Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules
Inspect work to ensure quality and specification adherence
Collaborate with General Superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve construction methods
Coordinate material delivery and expediting with the Project Engineer
Obtain and monitor permits, inspections, and compliance requirements
Review cost reports and process back charges per SOP
Manage time and material approvals
Maintain daily documentation: reports, punch lists, billing sheets, and jobsite records
You are the field leader ensuring the work is completed safely, correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
