Novak Construction Company is seeking experienced
Traveling Superintendents to lead large-scale commercial retail remodels and ground-up projects for major national clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all on-site construction activities
- Manage large crews (100+ personnel) and subcontractors
- Create and maintain project schedules
- Ensure OSHA safety compliance and jobsite standards
- Monitor quality, progress, and budgets
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues
Qualifications- 10+ years of construction supervision experience
- 5+ years managing large commercial/industrial projects
- Experience with big-box retail projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel nationally
- Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam, AutoDesk, or similar software
- OSHA 30+ certification strongly preferred
Travel RequirementA valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Driving is an essential function of this position, as the superintendent must travel to, from, and between active jobsites across multiple states to oversee projects, conduct site inspections, and coordinate field operations.
