Essential Skills
Support project pursuits and preconstruction planning by participating in client presentations, developing high-level construction schedules, and evaluating logistics, constructability, phasing, and sequencing strategies.
Lead preconstruction and field planning by developing construction phasing plans, site logistics, work area transitions, temporary conditions, and execution strategies that support safe and efficient project delivery.
Lead field operations by directing daily construction activities, coordinating trade partners, managing manpower, and driving schedule performance while maintaining clear communication across the project team.
Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence by promoting Clune's safety culture, leading safety meetings, enforcing OSHA standards, and driving QA/QC efforts to ensure work meets project requirements before inspections and turnover.
Coordinate trade partners and field execution by proactively identifying and resolving constraints, sequencing work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring materials, equipment, and labor are available to support upcoming work.
Manage project schedules and field progress by maintaining accurate short-term schedules, monitoring milestones, documenting progress, identifying delays, and implementing recovery plans when necessary.
Resolve field challenges and mitigate project risks by making timely decisions related to constructability, trade coordination, logistics, schedule impacts, and unforeseen jobsite conditions to keep the project moving forward.
Build and maintain strong client and project team relationships by communicating project status, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners, and representing Clune professionally throughout construction.
Lead project closeout and turnover by managing punch list completion, inspections, commissioning support, owner training, turnover documentation, and final acceptance to ensure a successful project handoff.
Lead and develop field teams by coaching Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade partners while sharing lessons learned and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
