Full Job Description
The location in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Superintendent, Fibreline. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview: Responsible for leading Production Supervisors in daily operations within a pulp mill environment. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality, environmental, and operational performance targets. It also includes coordination of maintenance activities, shutdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Challenges:
  • Leads and promotes a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulations, and continuous improvement of safety programs.
  • Ensures environmental compliance and performance, adhering to corporate and governmental standards.
  • Drives production and quality excellence, guiding supervisors to meet performance standards and maintain ISO requirements.
  • Oversees operations and maintenance coordination, including shutdown planning, prioritization of work, and equipment reliability.
  • Monitors and delivers on KPIs and cost control, supporting MBOS effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provides team leadership and development, coaching supervisors, fostering engagement, and building a high-performing, collaborative work environment.


Your Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and lead personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in a small team environment and interacting with senior level manager
  • Proven technical, project management and strategic skills


Your Profile:
  • University or Technical College degree in a related field is preferred plus five (5) years of pulp mill experience; or,
  • High school graduate with ten (10) years direct and related experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of the pulp process and the demonstrated ability to organize, plan, lead and motivate people to achieve established objectives
  • Combination of equivalent experience and education.


Salary Range - 120000-150,000 per annum
