You will oversee a portfolio of electric utility capital projects with a particular emphasis on substation projects - including new substation construction, substation expansions/rebuilds, and protection & control upgrades - alongside a broader mix of transmission and distribution work. • Take ownership of portfolio performance, including cost, schedule, and scope management, serving as the escalation point on complex or at-risk substation projects and applying recovery and risk-mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders, presenting portfolio health and project status to the client and Leidos leadership, resolving escalated issues, and driving risk mitigation across the project portfolio
  • Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support organizational growth, including strategy for new pursuits and expanding relationships with our utility client
  • Establish and enforce project controls, contract compliance, and quality standards across the portfolio, including leading post-project audits and lessons-learned reviews on substation deliveries to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, project teams, subcontractors, and support personnel
  • Develop and champion portfolio-wide risk management processes, proactively identifying project risks and escalating to senior leadership as needed
  • This role is mostly remote in nature, but candidates should be able to report to Jacksonville office once a week, and may be asked to report to job sites on an infrequent, as-needed basis
