  • Experience with substation control houses, protection/control panels, SCADA/communications racks, station DC systems, auxiliary power systems, modular electrical buildings, e-houses, or industrial control panels.
  • Working knowledge of UL 508A panel-shop practices and component compliance paths for listed/recognized equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/structural design interfaces, fabrication packages, enclosure integration, HVAC/ventilation, cable routing, penetrations, grounding interfaces, lifting/rigging, and factory test readiness.
  • Familiarity with NEC, IBC, ASCE 7, IEEE, NFPA, UL/NRTL certification processes, and utility-grade documentation expectations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align engineering, operations, procurement, quality, executives, EPCs, and owner/customer stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT progress is preferred but not required.
  • Preferred, not required: Experience with SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, Eaton, Schneider, or similar utility control, protection, SCADA, UPS, DC, and panel equipment ecosystems.
