Position Overview

As a Project Superintendent at JGM, you will be responsible for planning and executing work activities with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves providing technical assistance to the team and working closely with clients, Project Managers, and the Field Operations Manager to ensure a clear understanding of project strategy and specifications. This dynamic and flexible environment offers opportunities for growth, recognition, and reward based on the achievement of business results.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously plan and oversee work to ensure the team safely delivers high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Supervise construction efforts to ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and specification requirements, while optimizing and tracking progress.
  • Interface with clients and the operations team to coordinate project details, offering guidance on procedures and safety requirements.
  • Delegate responsibilities and provide ongoing training and development for future foremen and superintendents, while offering constructive feedback.

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Industrial construction experience preferred; light fabrication and mechanical experience is a plus.


Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Requires prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, regular lifting and carrying to move up to 50 lbs., talking, hearing, reaching, feeling, grasping, and push/pulling.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions/temperatures.
  • Regular mental and visual attention much or all the time with manual coordination.
  • Flexibility required to travel.
