Context
The Structural Modeller (Revit) will support the Stops & TPSS scope by producing and coordinating architectural documentation for transit facilities. The role focuses on preparing consistent drawing packages across multiple locations while adapting corridor-wide standards to site-specific conditions.
Missions/Main Duties
- Producestructural documentationand support thefederated BIM output.
- Developstructural 3D modelsand2D discipline design filesfor stops and TPSS facilities.
- Preparefoundation plans, framing plans, sections, details, schedules, and excavation drawingsacross stops.
- Produceexternal equipment foundation plans, cross-sections, steel framing sections and elevations, general notes, and typical detailsacross sites.
- Maintain thefederated 3D modelfor both scopes.
- Runclash detectionand prepareclash detection reportsat each project milestone.
- Maintain theasset data handover schemain coordination withS06 Digital Delivery.
- Extractquantities from the modelto supportClass 3, Class 2, and Class 1 estimates.
Profile/Skills
- Degree or diplomain Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum5 years of experienceinstructural modelling and documentationfor infrastructure or building projects.
- Advanced proficiency inRevit structural modelling, detailing, and sheet production.
- Experience withNavisworksfor clash detection.
- Familiarity withMetrolinx BIM standards.
- Experience producingcoordinated drawing setsacross multiple repeat locations.
