About the Position

We are searching for a Lead Structural Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in our Honolulu, Hawaii office. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of related design engineering experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will take leadership in structural design and analysis projects while mentoring junior/mid-level engineering professionals and supporting proposal efforts. Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to building systems design. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of related structural design and/or analysis experience
  • PE license required (SE preferred)
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM
  • Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients
  • Experience working on Federal projects is required
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
