Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ years of relevant industry experience
Design experience in structural steel and/or concrete
EIT certification preferred
Collaborative team-oriented work experience
Proficient in AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
Familiarity with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI standards
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed designs for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply codes and standards while coordinating structural designs with various disciplines
Support senior engineers on large facility projects
Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during the construction phase
Provide construction phase support with minimal field time required

JOB DUTIES
Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ Years of experience
Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
EIT certification preferred
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
