Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
2-5+ years of experience in structural engineering
Design experience or coursework in structural steel and/or concrete design
EIT certification preferred
Experience working independently and in a collaborative environment
Proficient in AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
Familiarity with industry standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for various systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards, ensuring integration with various disciplines
Support senior engineers with large facility projects
Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during the construction phase
Provide construction phase support as needed
Occasionally required to travel or work in the field

JOB DUTIES
Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
