Structural Discipline Lead in
Austin to help advance our technical excellence, develop our people, and support delivery of complex, high-impact projects.
This is an opportunity for a strong technical leader who wants to
shape a discipline, mentor engineers, and play a key role in project success across a wide range of structural applications-from water infrastructure to commercial and industrial facilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership- Lead structural analysis and design for a variety of projects
- Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Ensure quality and consistency across deliverables
- Provide guidance on complex design challenges
Project Management- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders
Team Development- Mentor and develop junior engineers
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
Client & Team Collaboration- Build strong relationships with project teams and clients
- Understand project needs and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
- Contribute to a culture of exceptional client service
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE)
- 6+ years of structural design experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Project management experience
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff
