Job Description
5 to 12 years of experience in below areas
Perform Static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis for Aircraft structures using classical hand calculation
Applicant should be familiar with Boeing Static and Book 1,2, and 3 Fatigure Analysis Methodologies
Applicant should be familiar with and have prior experience with the following:
Boeing Stress Tools, including IAS, XSA/SA+, FEADMS, IDTAS, Moss-Duberg, and FAMOSS
Understanding of load paths, extractions of loads from Finite Element Models
Applicant should be familiar with Damage Tolerance Analysis and CFR25.571
Determination of critical failure modes and performing analysis to ensure structural integrity
Analysis of aircraft primary/secondary metallic structures
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Coordinate with cross functional groups including Design, Materials and Process Engineering
Participate in review meetings with Customer and SMEs
Generate Engineering Stress Report which establishes compliance and safety
Interact with customer; understand the Scope of Work and methodology required to meet customer expectations
Required Qualifications
At least bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
