Role Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Finance & Pricing Lead to help build and own the financial infrastructure that powers ChipAgents' growth. This role sits at the intersection of our finance, sales, and R&D efforts, translating complex enterprise deals, compute economics, and partnership structures into clear pricing strategy, forecasts, and board-ready analysis. You'll play a central role in building the financial rigor and strategic clarity that lets ChipAgents scale sustainably as the business and product grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own forecasting and budgeting across the business
  • Define and evolve pricing strategy for complex enterprise, midmarket, SMB customers across a variety of LLM and non-LLM based products
  • Act as deal desk for strategic sales, understanding the financial impact of complex enterprise agreements
  • Model the business impact of complex, multithreaded partnership agreements
  • Support fundraising diligence and preparation of board materials
  • Build the business case and ROI models for major spend decisions, including the purchase of data, model training compute, and inference compute
  • Partner closely with partnerships, product, and R&D to evaluate buy vs. build vs. partner decisions that advance ChipAgents' roadmap and competitiveness
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in pricing, investment banking, investing, or FP&A at a high-growth or consumption-based business, with hands-on work in forecasting, financial modeling, or pricing strategy.
  • Strong track record building and maintaining financial models at scale, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and scenario/ROI analysis.
  • Comfort working directly with sales, partnerships, and external stakeholders to structure and evaluate complex enterprise or partnership agreements.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or similar).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with partnerships, product, and R&D teams in a fast-moving environment.


Nice to Haves
  • Experience with chip design or EDA industry economics, such as tooling licensing models.
  • Prior experience building or scaling pricing models for a consumption-based or usage-metered products.
  • Background in the semiconductor or EDA industry.
