Responsibilities

The employees' communicators manager is the editor-in-chief of Pulse, which was named one of the 10 best intranets by Nielson Norman Group in 2021. This role leverages Pulse to drive internal communications that keep employees informed and engaged regarding company strategy, priorities, products/solutions, performance/progress, values, culture, major initiatives, and changes. By partnering with colleagues across the company and applying creativity, this role adds depth and breadth to employee communications. You will inspire employees with stories of technology achievements driven by people and priorities across the globe, in a voice that is credible and relatable. And you'll apply your writing and editing skills to accommodate many other communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute a global employee communications strategy aligned with Keysight's business priorities, values, and culture.
  • Translate company strategy and key initiatives into clear narratives, campaigns, and calls to action that build employee understanding, alignment, and engagement.
  • Lead communications for major enterprise priorities, transformations, organizational changes, and business milestones.
  • Advise senior leaders on communications strategy and develop executive messages, presentations, talking points, and employee-facing materials.
  • Lead the employee communications function, including editorial strategy, content standards, channel effectiveness, and day-to-day operations.
  • Use AI, automation, and digital tools to increase the speed, scale, and effectiveness of communications while maintaining quality, accuracy, security, and brand standards.
  • Create and oversee engaging communications in a range of formats, including written content, infographics, presentations, video, and other multimedia experiences.
  • Strengthen coordination across employee, executive, external, business, and marketing communications through shared planning, messaging, and timing.
  • Build strong partnerships across Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Strategy, Marketing, Legal, business groups, and regional teams.
  • Use employee feedback, channel data, and business outcomes to measure effectiveness and continuously improve communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 10+ years of communications or equivalent experience, preferably in a high-tech field
  • Excellent visual and written storytelling skills with the ability to synthesize and simplify complex engineering information into clear, compelling content
  • Strong proficiency with generative AI and other emerging communications technologies, including the ability to apply them responsibly to content development, workflow automation, audience insights, and communications measurement.
  • Experience leading communications professionals and complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding PowerPoint skills with Photoshop experience desired
  • Technical proficiency to publish and manage the backend of the company's SharePoint-based intranet and use the internal email platform
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and works independently
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills


Preferred location is San Francisco Bay Area; but will consider anywhere in the U.S.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California Pay range: MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $211,000.00

Colorado pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

District of Columbia pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

Hawaii pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

Illinois pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

Maryland pay range: MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $199,000.00

Massachusetts pay range: MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $199,000.00

Minnesota pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

New Jersey City pay range: MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $199,000.00

New York pay range: MIN $131,000.00 - MAX $211,000.00

Vermont pay range: MIN $110,000.00 - MAX $184,000.00

Washington state pay range: MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $199,000.00
