JOB OVERVIEW

The Strategic Connected Vehicle Solutions Manager (Telematics & Connected Vehicle Subject Matter Expert) serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for Connected Vehicle and Telematics solutions, partnering directly with Client Management and Fleet Consulting Executives to drive adoption, growth, and value realization of Connected Vehicle products. This role bridges technical product knowledge with commercial execution-supporting sales strategy, client positioning, demos, and post-sale utilization to maximize client outcomes and revenue impact.

This individual "lives and breathes" connected vehicle solutions and enables client-facing teams to confidently sell and expand these offerings in a complex, consultative sales environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Sales Enablement & Deal Support
    • Partner with Fleet Consulting Executives and Client Managers to support Connected Vehicle sales strategy, opportunity qualification, and deal execution.
    • Lead or support client-facing demos, presentations, and solution workshops tailored to customer needs and fleet complexity.
    • Translate technical Connected Vehicle capabilities into clear business value propositions aligned to safety, productivity, sustainability, and cost outcomes.
    • Support pipeline reviews and deal strategy discussions for Connected Vehicle opportunities.
  • Product Expertise & Market Leadership
    • Serve as the internal expert on Connected Vehicle and Telematics products, including capabilities, data models, integrations, and competitive positioning.
    • Stay current on industry trends, OEM data strategies, telematics service providers, and evolving client expectations to inform sales and product discussions.
    • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Client Commercial Strategy to refine Connected Vehicle packaging, pricing narratives, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Adoption & Utilization Growth
    • Drive post-sale engagement to increase adoption, utilization, and expansion of Connected Vehicle solutions across existing clients.
    • Identify underutilization risks and partner with client teams to develop action plans that improve product penetration and value realization.
    • Support enablement efforts including training sessions, office hours, and best-practice sharing for client-facing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between Client teams, Product, Implementation, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing success.
    • Provide structured feedback from the field to inform product roadmap prioritization and service model improvements.
  • Success Measures
    • Growth in Connected Vehicle pipeline, win rates, and revenue
    • Increased product penetration and utilization across existing clients
    • Improved client confidence and consistency in Connected Vehicle selling
    • Positive feedback from client teams and customers on solution expertise

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment: This hybrid position is in Alpharetta or Schaumburg and operates in a professional office environment.

Positions Type/Standard Schedule: Full Time, Monday thru Friday

Travel: Minimal Travel may be required

Physical Demands: The role is primarily sedentary, involving prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of a computer and other office equipment. However, it occasionally requires facilitating group workshops, which may involve extended periods of standing. Special Conditions: The role may involve high-pressure situations and tight deadlines, requiring strong time management and stress management skills.

Pay Range:
$95,900-$134,200
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
