About The OpportunityThe Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth, strategic customer partnerships, and operational excellence across ORBIS Amazon solutions. This role serves as a senior leader for Amazon while providing oversight and alignment of service, manufacturing, supply chain, and operational activities that support customer success. The Strategic Account Manager develops and executes account growth strategies, negotiates complex commercial agreements, leads enterprise-level customer engagements, manages implementation and expansion initiatives, and ensures operational performance meets customer and ORBIS expectations. This individual serves as a senior liaison between customers and ORBIS, ensuring alignment of customer objectives, service execution, manufacturing capabilities, and long-term business strategy.
The role requires strong commercial leadership, operational acumen, contract management expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative reusable packaging and supply chain solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, customer retention,
and market share expansion of products and services.
2. Build and maintain Senior Manager-level relationships within Amazon.
3. Serve as the initial escalation point and customers advocate for all services related issues, opportunities, and initiatives.
4. Lead customer business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and support executive level presentations.
5. Establish a thorough understanding of customer business strategies and identify opportunities where ORBIS can
deliver measurable value.
6. Lead enterprise selling efforts across ORBIS product and service offerings.
7. Collaborate with Business Development, Product Management, and Regional Sales teams to identify and pursue
growth opportunities.
8. Maintain awareness of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity to strengthen ORBIS market position.
9. Lead the development, review, negotiation, execution, renewal, and administration of customer contracts and commercial agreements.
10. Support all Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) activities, including strategy development, solution design, proposal writing, pricing coordination, and executive presentations.
11. Negotiate service agreements, supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, pricing structures, terms and conditions, and performance-based contracts.
12. Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and profitability objectives are achieved.
13. Develop and implement commercial strategies that maximize customer value while protecting ORBIS interests. 14. Provide operational leadership and strategic oversight for customer service execution, manufacturing support, supply chain performance, and service delivery initiatives.
15. Partner with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure operational capabilities align with customer requirements and growth strategies.
16. Monitor operational KPIs, inventory performance, asset utilization, service levels, manufacturing capacity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
17. Lead customer implementations, new program launches, network expansions, and operational transitions.
18. Facilitate alignment between customer expectations, operational execution, and ORBIS strategic objectives.
19. Serve as a member of the ORBIS leadership team and actively contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
