• What will you do:
• Lead and support the store team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving store goals.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, and other administrative activities.
• Create a warm, vibrant, and professional store environment where customers and team members feel welcomed and supported.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints with honesty, integrity, and a prompt, friendly approach.
• Coach, train, and support team members while leading by example and promoting a strong work ethic.
• Conduct regular meetings with the Assistant Store Manager and team to improve customer service, store operations, and sales performance.
• Drive team commitment to high standards of service and help exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure eyewear products are created with speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Use your optical expertise to adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses according to each customer's needs and preferences.
• Support the District Manager and ensure the store consistently reflects the company's standards and objectives.
• Required Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Associate degree in Opticianry or some postsecondary education preferred.
• ABO Certification required.
• 1+ year of retail Store Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience as an Optician in a retail store or optometrist's office.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with eyewear fitting, adjustments, and assembly.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members while leading by example.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required to operate the store.
